Poster session

Poster session is open to Master, PhD, post-docs and more generally to all participants (within NeurATRIS or not) wishing to present their work in the field of translational neuroscience on neurodegenerative diseases and neurodevelopmental disorders.

 

(1) ABSTRACT TO BE SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL

Only the presenting author is authorized to submit an abstract. Abstract submission is linked to registration. It will therefore only be possible to submit an abstract if the participant has previously registered for the conference.

Please submit your abstract to the following address: emilie.hangen@cea.fr.

The abstract submission deadline is 30 November 2023, at 06 pm.

A scientific committee named by the organizers will then review the received abstracts for poster presentations and select the posters to be presented on the day of the conference. Priority will be given to Master's and PhD students and post-docs.

Participants will be notified of the acceptance of their abstract by Friday 01 December, 2023 at latest. If you did not get any email notification please contact Emilie Hangen via email emilie.hangen@cea.fr.

 

(2) ABSTRACTS GUIDELINES

Abstract should include:

   -  A title

   - The name of the principal author, the co-authors and the affiliations :

  • Underline your name and use commas to separate the author names.
  • Write your name and surname in full; for any other authors use initial(s) for the first name(s) followed by the surname.
  • If more than one affiliation, use sequential superscript numbers to identify each institution.

   -  At least 3 parts: Introduction, Results, Conclusions. "Materials and Methods" can also be part of the abstract.

Please, keep the abstract within 4 000 characters, spaces included (≈ 1 page).

 

(3) POSTER FORMAT AND EXHIBITION

A0 portrait format: 119 cm height, 84 cm width

The poster session will take place in the reception hall (room 102), from 1.15pm to 2.15pm.

Posters need to be fixed on December 07, before 11 am. Fixing material will be provided on-site at the front desk. Posters must be removed at the end of the day, before 6:00 pm.

Poster numbers will be displayed on the day.

 

(4) NEURATRIS PRICE FOR BEST SCIENTIFIC POSTER

During the poster session, the members of the jury will meet the participants to assess their poster and their ability to present results. Their assessment will cover both the content (scientific content) and the form (organisation of ideas). The evaluation criteria will focus in particular on the readability of the information, the clarity of the message, the relevance of the methods used and the scientific contribution of the results.

A NeurATRIS prize will be awarded to the best scientific poster.

The NeurATRIS prize for the best scientific poster corresponds to a NeurATRIS financial support to cover transportation, housing and registration fees, up to a maximum of 2 000 €, to attend an international meeting.

Please note that only Master's, PhD students and post-docs are eligible for this prize.
